♥♥ Chicago ♥♥

Today is my last day in Chicago. Tonight I fly down to Florida and fly over to Arizona Wednesday morning. I love to fly but I am thinking a flying ban will be needed after all this time in the air.

The weather is supposed to be in the low 70s today. I should spend all day outside soaking in the nice weather before the hot hand of summer in Arizona smacks me in the face, but I won’t. Not sure what the girls and I will do today. I'm sure a stop at the local ice cream shop is in order.

I remember when I first moved out here and thinking how weird it was to see ice cream shops closed up in the winter. What the heck are people supposed to do when they wanted a Blizzard in January?! Thankfully I found out there was a Dairy Queen in the town over that stayed open all year. The lines sucked. Waiting outside in 5 degree temps for ice cream is not my ideal night.
Yesterday Kirby, Murphy, Seda and I hopped on the Chicago "L" train and headed downtown. The weather was PERFECT!!! Bright blue skies and just enough wind to mess up our hair.

We stopped at the brand new American Girl Store. They moved to a bigger location and now the store is nuttier then ever. A doll hospital, really?! The doll hair salon was 2x bigger too. Nutso. For those with young girls, make sure you plan to go deaf after going in there. IT IS LOUD!!

We also stopped to treat Seda to some true Chicago Deep Dish pizza. We ate at Gino's East, their original location. You are able to write on basically anything in the restaurant. The only non graffiti area is the bathrooms. It was hard to find spots to write. The pizzas take almost an hour to bake so we had time to find our little spots.

Wow! What a fun day! Those girls probably loved having you back for the week!

Have fun on your last day in town - and in the air all those long hours! See you in Phoenix!
