Baking Bust :(

I attempted to bake up the cupcake pops for the baseball game on Sunday.

The instructions were super easy too. I used Funfetti box mix and store brand cream cheese icing. I mixed like the directions said & dipped like the directions said.

I thought they tasted like pooh. I like cake batter and all, but these pops tasted like chunky cake batter dipped in chocolate. The consistency grossed me out.

I ended up throwing the majority of them away. I put a small amount in the freezer in hopes of them tasting better frozen...no such luck! Mine looked like buckeyes more than anything.

The baking and preparing process is really long. I ended up tossing them all too!!

Has anyone else tried these? Did I miss a step causing the texture to come out weird?
