We woke up REALLY early on Saturday and drove the 3 hours up to Orlando. Not too bad of a drive really. There was a lot of fog on the way up, but I'll take that over smoke any day.
Anyhow, after dropping the girls off at the park, Missi and I went to check in to the hotel and clean up for our day at the park. We're both kind of wimps when it comes to roller coasters and thankfully Universal Studios caters to our kind.
The park was not too busy and we didn't have to wait in a line for more then 15 minutes. I had been to the Universal Studios in California and the park here was pretty much the same thing. Sadly, the Back to the Future ride is no more :( :(
Thankfully Doc is still around to keep everyone on their toes.

Oddly enough, some local high schools were having their proms at the park. We saw lots of pretty dress and even more bad hair....on the dudes. Hopefully it is just a Florida trend, but the prom guys looked like they could have been on Growing Up Gotti. Ugh, I'm so glad I am out of high school.
I was selected to be a background 'actor' during one of the attractions. I am sure they recognized me from my outstanding performance in The Break Up LOL. The Disaster attraction made a mock movie about a massive earthquake. I played an evil scientist who had rocks fall on her during the quake. It was very funny. Thankfully the hard hats were adjustable enough to fit my huge head LOL.
Waiting for our scene with my fellow evil scientists

Overall, the four of us had a great time at the park. It was a long day but well worth it.
