3...2...1...BLAST OFF!!!!

***Fingers Crossed***

My friend and I are heading up to Cape Canaveral early early EARLY Saturday morning in hopes of seeing the shuttle launch up close (Well, as up close as someone who decided to go up last minute).

It's about a 3 hour drive, eeek! It's something to do that's relatively cheap. Afterwards, we intend on hanging out on Cocoa Beach for the afternoon and soak in the sunshine.

A few weeks ago, a group of us went to the top of the 'big boat' in catch glimpse of a shuttle launch. We were able to get a pretty good view. We even saw when the fuel thing fell off the shuttle. The whole thing was pretty cool. We're hoping that going 2+ hours north of us will be even cooler.

So, let us cross our fingers to keep the rain away AND winds under 35 mph.

k*thanks!
