This is going to be random, poorly typed (typing with freshly painted nails), and all over the place. You've been warned :)
~ I jumped the Starwood ship and have rejoined the Marriott family. I am currently working at two properties right by the University of Phoenix Stadium and the joy that is Westgate. I've been there for just over a week now, so no game time action. However, from what I hear, it gets pretty crazy. BTW, I'll be at the season opener w/ my wacko siblings and father. There are two Oakland Raiders fans in that mix. Any guesses on who?
~I was able to visit my good friends Molly and Trav McAvaddy in Los Angeles in June. We had a great time and am looking forward to seeing their newest addition to their family sometime soon. We scored some pretty sweet tickets to a comedy show in Hermosa Beach. We saw the wonder that is Daniel Tosh. You know, of Tosh.0 fame. If you have not watched the show before, I highly suggest it. He's doing a show in Phoenix next month...check him out.
~Sad news. On July 4th, my paternal grandfather passed away. He was a great great man. Served in two wars (Korean and WWII). I adored the man and he will be greatly missed.
~My brother, Adam, added to the family. No no, not that type of addition weirdos. He is now the proud owner of a sweet black lab named Layla. She is a pure delight and a floppy mess of laziness.
~Speaking of additions, my great friends added to their family too. Their little girl, Jorah Deborah, joined the world just over a week ago. As you can see, she's already on the cutting end of fashion.
That is all I have for now.
I thought I had a lot more to type, but the Rosanne reruns are distracting me.
